Terms of Use
Last updated: July 23, 2026
The short version. PulseMove is licensed under Apple's Standard EULA. It is a habit tool, not a medical device, and not an emergency or medication alarm. Your subscription is billed by Apple and renews until you cancel.
Your licence
PulseMove is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which governs your use of the app. You can read it here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
The sections below describe how PulseMove works and the terms specific to it. Where they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.
What PulseMove is
PulseMove rings real system alarms at times you schedule and quiets them when your movement is verified by device sensors. It is a habit tool. It is not a medical device, it gives no medical advice, and it is not a medication or emergency alarm — do not rely on it for anything safety-critical.
Move safely
PulseMove prompts movement. It cannot tell whether moving is safe for you right now. If you have a heart condition, an injury, or you're pregnant, check with a doctor before you start. Move at your own pace, and never move somewhere unsafe in order to stop a ring.
Your subscription
- Billing — PulseMove Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. Prices, terms, and any free trial are shown at the point of purchase.
- Renewal — payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via your App Store subscription settings.
- Trials — any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Restoring — use Restore Purchases on a new device to recover an existing subscription.
Honest limits
- Delivery belongs to iOS. Alarm timing and loudness ultimately depend on ringer volume, Focus configuration, and OS updates. PulseMove is engineered to fail toward silence, never toward un-stoppable noise.
- Strict mode re-rings on a cadence until movement is verified or its window ends; the in-app Pause control always stops everything at once.
- Calendar awareness is best-effort. When PulseMove cannot tell whether you are busy, it rings.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the service. We may end support for builds that tamper with verification.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulseMove is provided "as is" without warranties, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
